All This is Little Known is now available! This is the story of how Sandra Z. Eliot almost saved the Everglades. Follow her as she moves back to her hometown of Oak Park, Illinois after quitting her job writing for a corrupt developer in south Florida. A novella of place, environment, the ethics of real estate, and finding home.
MEMOIR--Coming 2025--My Economy looks at life through the lens of money--how it's made and how it's not and the role our mothers and grandmothers played, all within the context of twentieth century America. Inspired by Bridgett Davis's The World According to Fannie Davis.
Jennifer Marcus grew up in Chicago and Oak Park. She knew she was a writer in the second grade when she won a goldfish in an essay contest--several sentences on that wide-ruled paper that tore so easily. She's since published a few longer essays and poems, earned her MFA in writing from Lindenwood University, and reluctantly modernized her writing tools. She lives in rural Missouri where she still prefers pen and paper.
